I needed cataract surgery. From start to finish this practice has been wonderful. It was easy to get an initial appointment. Every staff member-Dr. Steinberg, the assistants, the office staff and surgical team-were friendly, thorough and explained the process every step of the way. My optometrist recommended this office, and I can understand why. I have already recommended to friends and family, and when my other eye needs fixing I will be coming back.

I came to Precision/Dr. Steinberg with a fairly advanced cataract in one eye and received prompt, professional care from a support staff that is consistently kind and on point in their individual functions. It is a very compact office and patients move in and out in quick order. Dr. Steinberg himself is clearly the consummate and experienced professional. I’ve gathered that he can be distant, and I totally see that. Fact is, they have such a tight schedule that, at times, it seemed that the doctor was already out the door with the next patient. Perfectionist clearly. Impatient sometimes, maybe. The practice is quite transparent about Dr. Steinberg’s interest in the nearby Central New York Eye Center Ambulatory Surgery Center –where I had my cataract surgery– and I appreciated that transparency enormously. As for my surgery, I am entirely pleased. I hadn’t realized how far gone my vision had become until I had it back. Communications about the process throughout from Precision were clear, and the office was very helpful about funding options.

Dr. Steinberg was referred to me by my eye doctor & I am very pleased with the outcome of my Cataract surgery that was done in January of 2025. I appreciated the attention to detail & friendliness of everyone I came into contact with & the follow up appointments with Dr, Steinberg to make sure everything was healing as it should. I had to go the P’ok office for the first time. Very stressful drive, and almost no parking. I was late and out of breath. I must say that all the staff was so courteous and efficient that when I left I felt quite relaxed.

I had gone to an ophthalmologist who told me I have cataracts, but I could wait until the summertime to get it done. He gave me a prescription which three times he had to change it because I could not see out of them at all so then I went back to Walmart Vision center and had my eyes re-examined and the doctor there she was wonderful Gave me a referral to Dr. Steinberg‘s office I called them. They gave me an appointment immediately did all the testing they had to do. Measurements for the lenses for my to correct my cataracts And scheduled my appointment immediately, so this doctor and his staff Five stars, they truly care about their patients and I highly recommend them, Thank you, Dr. Steinberg and your staff for the treatment I received the day of of my first visit Ann Burgess

I ❤️ Dr. Steinberg! He definitely graduated at the top of his class!! Cataract surgery was a breeze with fabulous results. I couldn’t be happier with him and his fabulous staff! I thought I’d be terrified, but I was perfectly calm in the most capable hands of the nurses and the doctor!!

Great experience, the techs are very knowledgeable, happy to answer your questions. Everyone was very upfront about what to expect before during and after the cataract surgery.
