I’ve always had a good experience at Dr. Steinberg’s office and I’ve been going there for 11 years. I have never found Dr. Steinberg to be unprofessional, as some of the other reviews say. The techs that work with him are also very friendly, nice and patient. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Dr. Steinberg was nothing but professional and explained everything in detail. I was a bit nervous but when he walked in the exam room he reached over shook my hand and introduced himself ” Hi, Dave Steinberg nice to meet you”. I had a full dilated exam and he explained everything in terms I understood. From the moment I walked in the door I was met with a smile from the front staff, to the technicians and Dr. Steinberg. I have referred my family to Dr . Steinberg and Dr. Steinberg even performed cataract surgery on my father.

Dr. Steinberg is not only a very competent and professional dentist, but also a very compassionate person as well.She took me on as an emergency patient while i was waiting for a VA appointment. She went through a very comprehensive exam and treatment plan with me and made the process comfortable and easy. I highly recommend Dr. Steinberg to any and all who need quality dental care.

I am in shock at the low reviews. At times I can see the upfront staff to be uncomfortable(in the past only), but not Dr Steinberg or the staff who brings you back and helps w/testing. I see Dr. Steinberg every year for many years as do two of my children. A third child of mine even recently seen him for a severe eye infection that he took care of and took the time to get the best medication approved- I saw the authorization and was amazed at what he provided to help ensure my child’s vision wouldn’t be affected. He took the time to speak w/the pediatrician to rule out underlying causes to prevent it from happening again and to be sure there wasn’t something serious going on with his health.. As far as vision goes, my oldest child had seen several Drs who couldn’t get his prescription accurate. The first time he picked up his glasses w/Dr Steinberg’s prescription he said, “Wow, everything is so clear I can see everything!” I recommend him to others any chance I get, he deserves the positive recognition. Very professional service and are very patient about explaining every part of the procedures. I was very happy with my experience and have recommended them to several people who have had the same experience.

Dr.Steinberg is awesome. I prefer the Fishkill office to the Poughkeepsie one but both have polite and considerate staff. I have 3 children that wear glasses and myself. Dr.Steinberg always has patience with and for the kids with who it can be difficult to get right lenses set. He is always kind and shows genuine effort to get us in and out as soon as possible while still covering all of the necessary bases in correcting their vision (being in any office with 3 children can drive you in sane). He has an amazing manner and is a pleasure to do business with.

After reading previous reviews I feel that I need to share my thoughts.. I had cataract surgery, was nervous as can be, but from the second I walked into the office I was treated by a very friendly, patient and professional staff….each follow up visit was the same….I personally would like to thank these ladies and one gent for making a very difficult time less stressful…
