Dr Steinberg and Dr Doxtader are the best in ophthalmology that I could ever imagine! I had my cataracts treated here, and the office staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Steinberg performed the surgery on both of my eyes and I felt completely at ease. Both in the surgeries and follow up appointments I was treated with the best care and I never had a worry or a problem. I highly recommend the office of Dr Steinberg and his staff for anyone in need of an eye care specialist!

Dr.Steinberg is great , he takes care of my kids as well as myself. I have to say I had an insurance issue & Cindy did a wonderful job taking care of it. She was very patient & understanding with me even though I was highly upset.Cindy is very professional even in the heat of the moment. I can’t say thank you enough!

Dr. Steinberg and Dr. Doxtader were both a pleasure during a visually difficult time for me. I really appreciated the time they took to answer all my questions. The Poughkeepsie and the Fishkill office staff were excellent and the folks at the Eye Center were particularly comforting. I was treated with respect and understanding throughout the cataract evaluation and surgery on both eyes. Oh, and the result of the surgery was better than I imagined it would be. Thank you all!

i have papilledema and have been seen here for about seven years. my condition got better and worse on and off for a while, even becoming an emergency at one point, but they were always able to stabilize it every time. i’m extremely grateful for the amazing treatment and the friendly staff for all of the work they do ! i’ve been stable now for a long time thanks to the doctor’s quick treatment. thank you so much to everyone who has made my appointments so comfortable and less anxiety inducing (:
